Welcome to The Gates of Erebus
When police fail to solve a string of peaceful but suspicious deaths, FBI Special Agent Bridget Carmichael steps in to lead a task force to capture the figure that all of DC is calling the Sleepwalker Killer. Bridget’s dedication to justice is her sole focus … except for her decade-long crush on her colleague, JD. But Bridget can’t get distracted if she’s going to lead her team to success, especially with JD’s twin brother Nate openly gunning for her position.
But staying focused is getting harder. A vivid dream takes Bridget to a place called Erebus, a purgatory-like section of the underworld full of vengeful gods and mythical dangers. There, she meets Vasso, a mysterious masked man tasked for the past hundred years with searching for Pasithea, the kidnapped wife of the god Hypnos. Even if she’s not sure that Erebus is real, Bridget feels a strange pull toward Vasso, and her instincts tell her that their goals are connected.
As the deaths mount and the nightly trips to Erebus intensify, Bridget tries not to go insane from the competing demands of her two realities. But when Erebus begins bleeding into her waking life, she realizes that journeying deeper into the dream world might be the only way to solve both mysteries at once.

About The Author
Debut indie author Jordan Fedyk built The Gates of Erebus around her love of Greek mythology, fantasy, poetry, and unconventional romance. Growing up in a family with a passion for Dungeons and Dragons, it was easy for fantasy to stay alive and thriving in her everyday life. Between that and reading and writing poetry with her mother, there were endless creative outlets to escape everyday life with. She pulled from those experiences, and what she enjoys as a reader, to create a story of her own.
The Gates of Erebus was born from little more than a dream. It was something so vivid it had to be written down, and that spark slowly turned into a raging fire. Endless nights were spent handwriting out pages of notes, creating excel spreadsheets to track character development and their arcs, and extensive Greek mythology lore until the story became clear. It quickly became apparent that this was not a one book endeavor, but a trilogy in the making.
But be warned, this series is not for the faint of heart. As someone who struggles with mental health, Jordan has used her experiences, struggles, and personal demons to build every page. It is just as much a psychological thriller, as it is a dark romantasy. Her hope for her readers is to realize everyone has a darkness in them, and they are not alone.
So, if you are brave enough to step through the gates, you will experience themes of identity, memory, betrayal and more. Sign up for the insider’s newsletter to get updates on the book release, teaser content and even access to a prequel chapter ‘The Willow and the Wraith’.
